Day 223: New washing machine.

At last the owner of the house replaced the old washing machine with a new one. Now its back to the normal washing routine.

It didn't feel like Friday today. I was not in the mood to work. That's what happens when you had a day off before Friday. On the other hand, I am grateful that I was able to clear emails and follow up outstanding issues.

On my way home, I bought this small clamp that holds my hair so tight. Nahiya na kong kunin ung clamp sa sister ko which I think she enjoys using. Haha. Got a better one!

Day 213: Mini Hankies.

Singapore dont use handkerchiefs made of cloth, they use tissue instead. Got this cute mini hankies from my sister. Parang ayaw kong gamitin! Lol

Day 200: Faucet Fixed!

Faucet in the office used to be dripping . Water keeps on flowing and I dont know how to stop it. Sometimes you have to wait for another colleague to wash his/her cup para di ikaw ang mapagabutan. Grateful that its fixed already.

Day 142: That small thing again.

Cute 8GB blue thumbdrive and case for my old and new passport. Some of the random small things I am grateful of. How its gonna be without them?

Day 130: That small thing.

Yes, I'm enrolled in the old school of using notebook for Sunday preaching. I pay more attention to preaching when jotting down notes rather than using electronic gadgets.

 

A new notebook always comes with a new pen. hahaha. I love writing.

Day 115: Remembering Childhood Game.

Remember these? We call it "tex" (not sure if I spelled it correctly). Me and my cousins used to play this back in our childhood. Its different, though.  Back then, the cards are thicker and a bit bigger.  Most of the pictures are scenes from movies and has captions.  Surprised that the game is still being played today in the midst of all those new gadgets.   

Day 109: Let's Organize.

Time to organize my important documents/files with this clearbook, it has 20 pockets and 40 sheets, A4 size metallic color.

Day 107: New Conditioner Variant.

This is a new Creamsilk Conditioner variant to give more volume to your hair and make it more bouncy.  I want to give it a try since I have curly hair.  Glad to have 8  sachets for free. Yey! Actually, I didn't know that there was a promo for this.  The cashier didn't told me about it but when I get out of the supermarket I saw a signboard for the promo.  I must have been missed it if not for slowing down.  Got reminded of what I read few days ago about slowing down  and enjoying life more. One of the principles discussed was being present and focusing on your environment and others around you.  Little by little I'm starting to practice and getting result. Wow! I tend to overlook small things because my mind is always after the big things. I know I am still a work in progress in this area of "slowing down" but through consistent practice it can be a habit and part of my life.

By the way, while I was in another supermarket, I saw a game show for the first time. Enjoyed watching the woman gathering grocery items within a short period of time.  These small things made my day. Indeed life is more fun when you slow down and appreciate little things in life.  Thank You Jesus!

Day 62: Tiny thing on my fone makes it easier to press the start button.

Day 52: Stickers are great rewards for kids.

Everytime my niece and I played, I will always use stickers as rewards for a job well done. Those colorful designs will tickle her and will put a big smile in her face.

Day 19: New mouse.

Took me half an hour to buy this mouse. Like the color :)
