Day 334: Nanny for a day.

It was my niece's field trip. Due to some health reasons, my Mom can't make it and since I am the most available and free person in the world (lol) I have to go with my niece. It excites me because I haven't been to Enchanted Kingdom and Tagaytay. Also, it made me nervous because this comes with a big responsibility for me.

First, we went to a farm and zoo in Tagaytay. My niece loves animals and she really enjoyed seeing them. She likes it especially when the birds were flocking on her hands while feeding them. Then, we headed to Enchanted Kingdom where its even more exciting and fun. Sadly, my phone battery was flat so I was not able to took more photos. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the rides and games there!

It was fun and tiring though joining the trip. There are many things that I learned and some spiritual sinificance which I will blog separately. Grateful to be a part of this exciting adventure.

Day 333: Lugaw Late at Night.

Day 332: Let's organize cables and wires.

I can't withstand seeing messy computer cables and wires at home so I tied them up with nylon cable ties. What a relief!

Day 331: Hohohohoho!

Christmas is around the corner. How are you preparing for this occasion?

We started putting decorations in the house. These are old decors we used in the past. Since its a yearly celebration, we kept it so we can use them again and save money.

We put up a small christmas tree and christmas lights in the house. Here are some photos I took.

Day 330: New Bingo Game!

A new game played between me and my nephew - Bingo Game! The winner is first player to achieve 4 counters in row in a vertical, horizontal or diagonal line. What a challenging game as it allows you to think and strategize before putting those chips / coins.

Day 329: Weekends with Dora and Boots.

How was your weekend?

My sister's family went to our place and had lunch with us. As expected, the house was a blast because of my nephews and nieces who played and fight at the same time. I let them watch Dora and Boots to somehow "calm" the atmosphere. Its a fun and crazy weekend! Glad to have spent time and engage with them.

Day 328: Home School or Not?

Will you send your kids to school or home school them?

It got me thinking while I was teaching my niece on writing alphabets. I was at the bookstore couple of days ago and saw someone from church who randomly told me that she home school her child instead of sending to a learning institution.

Day 325: Love Awareness Day!

Psalm 119:64 : The earth is filled with your love, O Lord, teach me your decrees.

His love never runs out. It never runs dry. Jesus, thank you for Your love that is fresh and new every morning. I received Your love today. 

Day 324: What time is it?

Ecc. 3:1 "There is a TIME for everything and a SEASON for every activity under the heavens."

What season are you into? Whether its a time of sowing seeds or harvesting, be faithful  on whatever season you are into. Never compare yourself to others or get jealous of those who are in  the season of harvesting, rather rejoice with them for your time will also come.

Ecc. 3:11 "He has made everything BEAUTIFUL in its TIME."

Day 323: New Blogger Mobile App.

Yay! Blogger has new and improved layout mobile app. Its better than the old one. I am getting excited to use it more often. I have an option whether to share my posts to G+ or not. Galing! Now here's my first post using the improved app.

Day 322: By the Hammock (the poetic side of me)

Away from the crowd, far from the busy streets and noise of the city where you can rest your body, soul and mind with the fresh breeze of air touching your skin. No sophistication, without a hint of elegance, simplicity surrounds every corner of this land. Peace envelopes your being as you quietly lie down and swayed to and fro by the hammock.

Day 320: Did you know that...

Did you know that before flying to Singapore I worked as a call center agent for 2 years in Ortigas, Manila. My world literally was changed upside down because I started working when most people are already sleeping. Haha.

Day 319: Guess who beaten me up on playing cards?

Last night's match with my nephew and I lost again, race to 5, I only scored 2.

Day 316: Rain and His faithfulness.

"For the rain he sends demonstrates his faithfulness. Once more the autumn rains will come, as well as the rains of spring." Joel 2:23

Day 313: I hate taking medicines.

I hate taking medicines -  even a simple paracetamol to complex antibiotics, I don't know but it feels like I am very weak when taking medicines. I was sick for the past few days and I have no choice but to take them.

Day 315: Favorite Childhood Series.

What was your favorite childhood movies/series?

I grew up with all these childhood series - Power Rangers, Voltes V, Daimos, Bioman, Ultraman, Magmaman, X-Men etc.  Seeing my nephews and niece enjoying these shows reminds me of my childhood. Back then, my cousins and I would fight and re-enact what happened, pretend that we also have super powers that can save the world from danger. How crazy, but fun though!

Music brings positivity and energy in me, again I am not a pro, this is some kind of a hobby and this means a lot to me.

*Journal entry while inside the plane*

I am grateful that I can ride a plane and travel, see the amazing view above and the beautiful clouds that seems to be cotton candies asking me to eat them. Yummy! Yummy! Glad that I am seated on my favorite spot - beside the window where I can see things from above.

I am grateful that I can write and put my zillion thoughts to writing. I am grateful that I have hands to write, mind to think and the ability to put words together, make them into sentences and form paragraphs.

I am grateful that I have the coolest journal where each page has different designs and art on it. Grateful that I have a pencil that is so unique that I don't need to push every now and then because it is an auto lead pencil.

I am grateful to have travelled with Mommy and Hannah. I'd be able to spend time with Mom and Dad and the rest of the family in the Philippines, sharing the love of Christ with them.

I am grateful for the foods/snacks sold in the plane (beef cup noodle and ensaymada). I am starting to get hungry  while writing this entry.  I am grateful for the short entertainment inside the plane, a game where we have to guess the singer of the song.  I didn't win but I am glad that it somehow diverted my attention and stopped worrying and thinking.

I am grateful that I have my pencil refills. I need to refill because I think I write long enough.

I will be grateful for this day!
