If there's tiangge in the Philippines, there's Pasar Malam (pronounced as Pasa Malam, silent "r") in Singapore which means night market. They sell fruits, toys, snacks, clothes, bags etc. at cheap prices. I love going to Pasar Malam!

This ends my 5-day blogging challenge about Singapore. Grateful to be here :)

To continue my 5-day blogging challenge about Singapore, I snap a photo of how the city looks like at night.

Let me pause my 5-day blogging challenge to give way for my sister's birthday! One of the reasons why I'm here in Singapore and I owe a lot from her, as in. Lols.

Singapore's transpo includes trains, buses and cab/taxi. They use EZ link cards and machines are available for top-up. What a convenient and comfy transpo! Grateful lah :)

I dont really like going here on Sundays because its too crowded. "Lucky Plaza" (LP) or they call it "Little Philippines" where Filipinos hang-out and gather para magkuwentuhan non-stop. I also took photos of the expensive stores opposite LP.

Let me show you where I headed today. This is the industrial part of Singapore, seems isolated bcoz this is where big trucks and factories are located. Not my first time here but hopefully not the last. Haha.

Cute 8GB blue thumbdrive and case for my old and new passport. Some of the random small things I am grateful of. How its gonna be without them?

19 May 2012

While waiting at NAIA Terminal 3, saw Lovi Poe walking around wearing white long sleeve and shorts + tangerine bag.  I like her fashion style, but I just didn't like her "over the top" shoes. By the way, it was Dad who took this photo. (may pagka-showbiz din..)

My nephew, Acer had a new toy. He actually requested that I snap a photo of him with his toy. I guess he's been seeing me taking photos of everything and wants to be featured in my blogsite. 'Eto na! He's a 6-year old smart boy (recovering from chicken pox) who's a fan, NO - a BIG fan of wrestling!

He would take this wrestling miniature with him while eating and sleeping. Ikaw na ang bata!

Couple of days ago, we had "matamis na saging" as merienda. I was encouraged by my sister to always have this at home, she prefers to have her kids eat bananas than biscuits because of its nutritional value. (Ok, I'm starting to be a fan of her in certain family matters). I did some reading about bananas and here's I found out:

 (1) The word banana is derived from the Arab word 'banan', which means finger. Banana is called 'the fruit of wise'. (2) Bananas are rich in Vitamin C which helps the body to defend and heal against infections. This vitamin also proves valuable in the synthesis of the connective tissue, absorption of iron and the formation of blood. (3) They also contain potassium. Potassium is a mineral that helps in the building of muscles and protein synthesis. This is done as potassium stimulates nerve impulses for muscle contraction.
(Nutritional facts from Buzzle.com)

Let's eat bananas!
