This Year's Theme

I got this year's theme from Colossians 3 where it says "Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things." I summed it up into a 5-letter word - FOCUS.  This is what I really need because I am the type of person who gets easily distracted. Alongside with this theme are my new goals set for year 2013. Exciting year indeed!

Day 171: Goal to Gain.

I want to gain weight. By the end of this year, I want to have another 5kg! Nothing is impossible. Aja! Aja! To start with, I should take my milk on a daily basis.

Day 123: New Passport Released.

Finally, got my new passport. Its better than the old one. Before its in green color and now its maroon; old one is up to 32 pages only, now its thicker and harder with 44 pages; my name and other important details are also computerized and my picture is digital, before its handwritten and my photo is only glued. My passport number has also changed, its validity is 5 years, until 2017. Yay! I wonder when and where am I going to use it first.  Hmmmmm. Wherever it is, I am ready!

Initially, the officer gave the wrong passport to me. Grateful that I checked it before leaving the building.  I don't usually check things like this before, thank God I'm being 100% present.

Day 91: First Quarter of the Year.

Today is the end of March and completes the first quarter of year 2012.  I checked my faith goals which I wrote at the beginning of the year.  I don't normally do re-checking of goals. I'm only good on jotting them down at the start but lose sight of them because I never monitor the progress of it. I believe its time to review them quarterly to see which God has answered and those that I still need to pray for.

Need to remind myself of this year's theme over and over again: God is Faithful. I'll be with you; I won't give up on you; I won't leave you. Strength! Courage! [Joshua 1]
