I can't remember when was the last time I run but this will be my first for this year. Need to work on some fats on my tummy area. I'm not involved in any sports so I hope running could help to make me tone and firm and somehow help to get rid of my allergy.
What sports are you into? Can you share some of its benefits?

I visited a different clinic to have my teeth cleaned. I was not expecting that it would take that long and painful. Ang sakit sa panga! But it was all worth in the end. Sarap ng feeling :)

I would like to share this interesting article from Reader's Digest February 2012 edition about beating allergies. Here's how to use your diet to ease the sneezes:
1. Choose chicken not beef. A study found that people who had the most trans-oleic acid in their diets - a form of mono-unsaturated fat found in red meat and dairy products - were nearly three times as likely to have hay fever as those who ate the least.
2. Eat an orange every morning. They're rich in vitamin C, a natural antihistamine. Some studies link low vitamin C levels with allergies.
3. Avoid monosodium benzoate. A study found that this preservative triggered sneezing and an itchy nose in adults without allergies. Its often found in juices, pickles, olives and salad dressings.
4. Sip green tea. Japanese scientists identified a compound (ECGC) in the brew that blocks a key cell receptor involved in producing an allergic response.

What are you up to this weekend? I stayed at home to take rest. I feel very weak due to my fever and monthly period. Sabay-sabaw!
Being sick for few days makes me loose weight faster that's why I'm eating as much as possible. Juices, fruits, lots of water and taking normal meals. I am grateful that Mom is here, it feels good when she's around. Praying for fast recovery so I can catch up with tomorrow's Sunday service and lifegroup.

I did not go to office today because I was sick. I went to the clinic to get MC (Medical Certificate) and was told that I have allergy on drugs. Whaaaaat! Pati ba naman sa drugs! ( 'coz I also have allergy on dusts ). The doctor told me that some people are like that, he did say some medical explanation which I did not pay much attention. Haha. In short, I cant just take any medicine or non-paracetamol drugs.
He adviced me to take a lot of water. Then gave me medicine for running nose, cough & cold and sore throat. What a day! What a Friday!

How you'd know if your monthly period is coming? Feeling of discomfort? Backpains? Chestpains? For me, I crave for something cold. It started last night, drank an orange softdrink to satisfy the craving. What a relief! In the bathroom this morning, I knew it! Uncomfortable and irritating days are here. Yikessss! These are the days I don't want to go anywhere, lessen my activities and stay in my room the whole day. hahaha. I'm blogging about a subject someone would rarely talk about. But I'm not going to blog about this in detail, not in the mood besides my lower back is in pain.

Have you tried coconut milk on your hair? I am not talking about the ready made coconut milk that you can buy from
supermarkets but the milk that is produced by squeezing grated
coconut meat. Its kinda old school because salons nowadays offer a variety of hair treatments. I am not against those treatments, in fact I have one at home. But its a lot more different when you use the natural and pure way once in a while. All you have to do is apply the milk to your hair thoroughly, cover with a shower cap and leave it for an hour or two. For best results, let it stay for longer hours. Rinse. Use your favorite shampoo and conditioner to remove the smell.
Applying coconut milk can be a bit messy and difficult if you do it only by yourself (good, if you can find someone who can do it for you). You need to bear with the smell also and you may feel a little hotter the longer it stays on your hair. But it will all pay off in the end because coconut milk will strengthen the strands of your hair and make it shinier and blacker. It is also a very good remedy for dandruff, falling hair, dry hair, lice and other insects. And most of all its CHEAPER! Old school is cool!

Its 2 in the morning and am still wide awake, maybe because I slept longer in the afternoon + some thoughts bugging me + rumbling tummy + someone thinking of me (yuck!). I only had pizza for dinner so here I am with my fave snack - yogurt strawberry flavor with some real fruit pieces. It is good for digestion and a good source of calcium for strong bones. (as per the cup) hehehe. And I just found out that I need to turn the flash off to get a better picture of my subject.

I still cannot move on from last night's program Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition. It was the first time that I watched the show and was stunned by the weight loss of the woman named Krista. It is somewhat similar to The Biggest Loser, the only difference is that it is not a competition rather it only features one person whom Chris Powell (trainer) will choose to provide 1-year intensive training and lessons for weight loss and healthy living. Exercise equipments will be brought right to your house and he will go through with you the drills. Aside from the good-looking host that will motivate you (lols), there are also rewards that will be given if you reach a certain goal. A brand new car was given to Krista who lost 100 pounds after 3 months! OMG! But it was not an easy road because she stopped the training along the way when she got depressed due to her sick daughter. Chris came back to the house and inspire her once again. To make the long story short, she was able to get back on track and lost an incredible 180pounds - from 445 to 265 pounds! To celebrate, marriage vows with her husband was renewed and this time she was wearing a wedding gown! What an amazing transformation!
Discipline and perseverance really pays off! Nothing is impossible!

I dont know when this started or where I got this but I have allergy on dust. Sounds funny and petty as one of my friends said but its really giving me a terrible feeling when something triggers the allergy. I will be sneezing all the time like a man, my eyes and nose will be watery and itchy. I will blow my nose every now and then. This heavy feeling would make me feel weak and worst, I cannot do anything at all. Aside from dust, very strong perfumes, bad odors and pets can trigger the allergy. The wisest thing for me to do is to always carry these tablets everywhere I go because I dont know when and where it will hit me. Thank God for antihistamine tablets!
